DA, Police Seek Public's Help in Fatal DWI Crash
County's lead law enforcement agencies to hold Wednesday press conference to discuss investigation into the death of Brittney Walsh.
Three days after a took the life of a Lindenhurst teenager, the Suffolk County District Attorney and Suffolk Police are asking for the public’s help in the on-going investigation.
District Attorney Thomas Spota and acting Police Commissioner Edward Webber will hold a press conference on Wednesday in Hauppauge to discuss the investigation into the death of Brittney Walsh, 18.
Babylon resident, Michael Grasing, is charged with driving under the influence (DWI) of alcohol late Sunday night when his vehicle crashed into the rear of Walsh’s vehicle, causing it to overturn and hit a utility pole, according to police.

Walsh, a recent Copiague High School graduate, died at the scene.
Grasing, 31, of Tappan Avenue, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. He remains hospitalized at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.
