Gorman came to Hofstra after two years and one playing season at Nassau Community College in Garden City where he was a NJCAA All-America Second Team Selection, the report noted.

He's also been teaching in the Rockville Centre School District since 2008.

Gorman was three-sport athlete at the LHS, lettering in lacrosse, football and wrestling. In his time in Lindy, he was a two-time All-Suffolk County Selection in wrestling and an Honorable Mention All-County Pick in football, the report indicated.

Gorman - who's also served as a lifeguard for the Town of Babylon since 1999 - has a degree in physical education from Hofstra and resides in Lindenhurst, the report added.
