Meet Mona Lisa, Shelter Pet of the Week

Looking for a new family pet? This sweet, petite Pit Bull Terrier mix may be the right one for you.

Mona Lisa is a lovable little Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s one of the featured pets at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter.

This year-old, already-spayed pup has a soft, short coat with a blend of white/cream, red and chestnut/orange coloring.

Mona Lisa got her name because the coloring on her mouth paints a perpetual half smile. DaVinci would approve of her expression, said the shelter.
