Photos: Another Look at the Benatar Benefit Concert

Lindenhurst alum Pat Benatar's recent concert at Westbury raises money for Lindenhurst Sandy Relief.

Pat Benatar and her husband and guitarist Neil Giraldo took to the stage at NYCB Theatre at Westbury to raise money for Sandy Relief efforts in Lindenhurst, Benatar's hurricane-ravaged hometown.

The concert by Benatar and Girlado benefitted Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, the Lindenhurst Fire Department and The Village of Lindenhurst Relief Fund.

In return the Village and the LFD gave Benatar and Giraldo LFD sweatshirts with their names on them, keys to the Village and a proclamation that declared Saturday, January 26, 2013, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo Day in the Village.

The proclamation - which could be read in the accompanying PDF file the VOL shared with Lindenhurst Patch - was cleverly written to include 23 of her songs.

Take a look through the Lindy Lens at the highlights of the January 25 concert - provided by the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, Benatar and Giraldo, and photographer Mark Schoen - and add your photos and videos of this event by uploading them to the above gallery or here - yours could be the next Lindenhurst Resident Photo of the Day!
