Saturday September 8th the Lindenhurst Football and Cheerleading League held their Pep Rally sponsored by Duffy’s Ale House. 2012 is a record setting year for our league as we are over 400 strong! Pictured here are our 5&6 year boys and girls, coaches, board members and proud friends of the league and community. Pictured Lindy Village Trustee MaryAnn Weckerle, TOB Supervisor Rich Schaffer, TOB Councilman Tony Martinez, Suffolk County Legislator Wayne Horsley, NYS Assemblyman Robert Sweeney, Assemblyman Phil Boyl of district 8, Village Trustee Mike Lavoratta. The season was put on hold by 14 hours due to tornado warnings and severe weather but it did not rain on our parade. The next morning Kyle Dolan opened up Lindy’s 2012 season by throwing 3 touchdowns to Jeremy Ruckert in a 36-6 win for their 12 year old team. The other Bulldog teams followed suit and provided a strong showing through all divisions. Thank you to all our friends and families who braved the weather and came to support the boys and girls. We hope to continue to see great crowds down at The Dawg House at Venetian Shores. Go Bulldogs!
