Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer and Councilwoman Jacqueline Gordon recently honored Matthew Ninomiya of Lindenhurst for earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts organization. For his Eagle Project, Matthew chose to beautify an overgrown garden at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst. Matthew landscaped the garden, which is located between the school and rectory, and added brick planters.
