Good Sam Hosts 'Night at the Races'
Kentucky Derby-themed events will raise funds to renovate the hospital's Pediatric Unit.
The Kentucky Derby is coming to the South Shore.
The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation’s is hosting a fundraiser called Night at the Races.
The event's set for Thursday, April 25 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Venetian Yacht Club. It'll feature casino-style games, video horse racing, music and food.

Tickets are $75 per person and include an open bar, buffet dinner, DJ, dancing, and games. Proceeds will go toward the renovation of the hospital’s Pediatric Unit.
The Venetian will be transformed into a Derby-themed casino for the event. Each guest will be given $200 in Good Sam Bucks, and have the opportunity to play casino games including blackjack, roulette and craps, plus, eight video horse races. Winnings can be exchanged for prizes.

There'll also be Triple Crown raffles and a Best in Show hat contest in honor of the upcoming Kentucky Derby.
