Meet Lexie, Shelter Pet of the Week

If you’re seeking a high-energy mush, then meet Lexie the Love Bug. She’s a smooth Husky mix that may include a little Labrador retriever, and she’s become an office favorite and official greeter, lying on her blanket post, at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter.

This large, adult, already-spayed female pup with a mix of chocolate, yellow, tan and blond medium-length fur is one of the featured pets at the Shelter. And everyone there agrees that she can melt your heart with one meeting because she greets all who come by with a bunch of mushy kisses as if she hasn't seen them in a hundred years.

Lexie is seeking a forever home with someone who’s just as high energy as she is. Everyone at the shelter agrees that she’d benefit from becoming that special someone's exercise and diet partner. They also say that when it comes to bath time, she’s very well behaved.
