Meet Trixie, Shelter Pet of the Week
Looking for a new family pet? This mellow and patient pit bull terrier may be the right one for you.
Trixie is the featured pet at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. She recently joined the St. Pitties' Day Parade in hopes of marching right into your heart.
Trixie, a loving little pit bull terrier, has been waiting at the shelter for a forever home since June 2010.
She’s quiet and mellow in her run even though she’s at the busy corner spot where all the dogs go by – she even did a meet and greet with a male Boxer, which went very well.

Trixie is young and eager for a caring home. She was also extremely patient for her St. Paddy’s Day-themed costume photo shoot.
