Photos: Kids' Day at Lindenhurst Oktoberfest

Fun rides, games and lots of cool prizes for the kids of Lindenhurst.

Lindenhurst's annual - sponsored by the Lindenhurst Rotary Club - drew kids of all ages, and even had a day specially designed for the kids of Lindy.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the second day of the three-day fair celebrating the village's German heritage, local children were welcomed down to Hoffman Avenue to enjoy a full array of rides, games and favorite fair foods.

Rides like the Sizzler and the Dragon Loops were the perfect attraction for the kids with an extra-adventurous spirit. Young Lindenhurst residents Hayley, Renee, George and Sam put their stomach to the test with multiple missions on the Dragon Loop.

"It's our favorite ride!" George said.

For those who appreciated heights, the Paratrooper was a great pick. And the Slide was a great ride for the entire family.

There were featured rides for the little ones, too. The Go Gator was a big hit along with the Dragon Go Round and the Roadster. And don't forget the cute goldfish that were given away as prizes for those who got a ping-pong ball into a colorful little bowl.

was a wonderful afternoon for Lindy kids of all ages! Take a look back through the at the festivities.
