Cervizzio's Pizza Moving Further South

Pizzeria will head to old restaurant space last occupied by Quiznos Subs.

Cervizzio's Pizza, one of Lindenhurst's long-time pizzerias, will leave their current location and move further south into the main business district within the coming months.

Signs announcing the move were posted in the pizzeria's current location at 272 North Wellwood Avenue and the new location at 121 North Wellwood Avenue.

Cervizzio's has occupied the space for the last decade and was originally operated before then as La Pizzeria. The tiny space the pizzeria currently occupies is in a stretch of storefronts just north of the main business district, with occupants including Kurt's Deli and Rockstar Tans.

The new space further to the south is much larger with two entrances, one facing Wellwood Avenue and another facing Hoffman Avenue.

The space is located next to Suffolk County Legislator Wayne Horlsey's office and one door down from rival pizzeria Mr. G's.

There was no word on when the official move would be made by Cervizzio's.
