Nail Salon Moving Into Great South Bay Shopping Center

New nail salon moving in next to Dollar Tree and Yo Luv It.

A nail salon will be moving into one of the vacant storefronts at the Great South Bay Shopping Center in West Babylon.

Signs went up late last week for Aegean Nails and Spa at 757 Montauk Highway, right between Dollar Tree and Yo Luv It on the eastern side of the shopping center.

There was no further information available at press time on what services, aside from manicures, pedicures and nail polishing, the new salon would be offering.

There was also no expected date for a grand opening available.

The storefront was last occupied this past winter when Justice temporarily moved across the shopping center in order to redesign the interior of their main location near the western edge, next to the new Red Robin. Justice, renamed Justice & Brothers, was moved back into their location by early spring, leaving the spot vacant once again.

The new storefront leaves the West Babylon side of the shopping center with only two vacant storefronts – one to the opposite side of Yo Luv It and the former National Wholesale Liquidators (and before that, Caldor). The shopping center has been filled with new stores such as Five Below, Carter's and Davis Vision over the past two years after finding itself half-vacant during an worldwide economic downturn.

Mall Properties, Inc. is the owner for the shopping center, which includes the Lindenhurst-side with LA Fitness, Aldi Supermarket and Rite Aid.
