Work continues on the building formerly operated as the Cattleman’s Steakhouse restaurant on East Montauk Highway.
The restaurant was hit extremely hard by the storm surge of Hurricane Sandy in October and was scheduled for demolition this July.
Workers have been noticeably taking down the building from east to west and quickly rebuilding in a similar shape to the original building.
Patch is currently working on gathering more information on any potential businesses moving into the site.
The restaurant, before it was Cattleman’s, also served Lindenhurst as Indian Taj and the Landmark Grill.
