The Real State of the Lindenhurst Real Estate Market

The Real State of the Lindenhurst Real Estate Market
Monthly Market Snapshot for Single Family Homes - March 2014

In March 2014, the Lindenhurst real estate market median sales price was $268,000 up 9.38% from March 2013. The highest recent sale for 2014 is $469,000 for a 4 bedroom, 11 room new construction Colonial on Idaho Street. 16 homes went under contract during March 2014 which is down 15.8% from this time last year. This is due to decreasing available homes on the market and buyers are experiencing tight negotiating and a colder than normal winter has also played a factor in the decrease of inventory. The Lindenhurst housing market has been in a seller’s market for over six months so expect to pay close to or at asking price for a move-in condition home.
