John Giancola, a Lindenhurst Village resident, passed away on November 30.
Giancola was 79 years old.
He joins his wife of 47 years, Adeline, who passed away in 2008.
Giancola is survived by his five children Louise, Emilia, Michael, Gina and John as well as his sister Gloria. He is also survived by five grandchildren – Samantha, Michael, Megan, Zachary and James.
A wake will be held at Johnstons' Wellwood Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Thursday at 9:45 p.m. He will be interred at Long Island National Cemetery in Pinelawn.
