Lindenhurst Resident Mollie Anastasio Passes Away
97 year old was a mother of two, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of two.
Mollie Anastasio, a Lindenhurst resident, passed away on October 27.
She was 97 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Angelo Anastasio, as well as eight of her siblings.
Anastasio is survived by her sons Richard and Robert, grandchildren JoAnne, Kristin and Scott, her sister Tina and two great-grandsons.
A wake will be held for Anastasio at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon Village on Wednesday, October 30 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 31 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst at 9:45 a.m. Interment will be held later at Calverton National Cemetery.
