Lindenhurst Resident Thomas Brielmeier Passes Away
Longtime volunteer and former Knight of Columbus Grand Knight passes away.
Lindenhurst resident Thomas Brielmeier passed away on October 5.
He was 72 years old.
Brielmeier was a past Grand Knight of the Our Lady of grace Knights of Columbus Council 11968 and a member of the fourth degree. He was an avid volunteer with the Social Ministries at the church and was awarded the St. Agnes Medal, presented by Bishop William Murphy.
He was married to his wife Carol Anh for over 53 years, with five children and a father-in-law to four others.
Brielmeier was also a grandfather to 16 and a great-grandfather to one, due in January.
He was waked at the Lindenhurst Funeral Home on October 9. A mass was held on October 10 at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in West Babylon.
An internment was held at the St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
