• Maria Steinbrecher of Lindenhurst on December 17.
She is survived by her sons Edward and Louis.  Also, survived by her siblings Josephine Fiore, Ann Bellante and Della Coglievina and four grandchildren. Religious services were conducted on Wednesday, December 19.  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 20 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church.  Interment followed at Calverton national Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Lindenhurst Funeral Home.

• Dorothy M. Cioffi of Amityville on December 16.
She is survived by her children Toni Corbett and Nick.  Also survived by her siblings Larry, Elenor, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Religious services were conducted on Wednesday, December 19. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 20 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church.  Interment followed at St Charles Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Lindenhurst Funeral Home.

• Helen Balz of Lindenhurst on December 15.
She is survived by her husband Henry “Sonny” Balz; and children James, Dennis, Kenneth and Raymond.  Also, survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Religious services were conducted on Wednesday, December 19. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 20 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church. Interment followed at Breslau Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Lindenhurst Funeral Home.

• Leo P. Caufield of Islip on December 14.
He is survived by his wife Ann; and children Lisa, Tina and Michael. Also, survived by his mother Virginia, siblings Christopher, Susan and three grandchildren. Religious services were conducted on Tuesday, December 18. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church.  Interment followed at Breslau Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Lindenhurst Funeral Home.
