Day Laborers At Home Depot Parking Lot
Has anyone else had a problem with the day laborers at the Copiague Home Depot. So far I've been accosted twice by these guys. First time the guy left me alone after about a minute of me telling him I don't need his help. This time the guy grabbled my cart, then my arm and followed me to my car. I got out of there as fast as I could. Called Home Depot and the first customer rep told me I was about the 6th one to call about that yesterday. Transferred me to a, in her words, "somewhat" manager. I asked about more security in parking lot. Told me security they have is mainly for the carts since they're having a problem with that. Nice. Carts take precedene over customer safety. Called main office number. They took info and said they "would contact the manager at the Copiage Home Depot. Didn't notice until today, when I was taking the gardening tools I bought out of the bag that the guy stold one of the items I bought. Obviously, they don't bother men, but zoom in on a woman if she is alone. Any advice?
