Crime Stoppers Searching For Suspects In Several Incidents

Police asking for the public's help in solving several crimes across Suffolk County.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the suspects involved in the following criminal incidents that took place in recent weeks across Suffolk County.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

• Purse Stolen At Area Waldbaum’s

Police are looking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person who police said stole a purse from a Waldbaum’s in Rocky Point.

According to police, an unknown person stole a purse from a woman’s pocketbook from the grocery story at 245 Route 25A in Rocky Point on November 1. Several credit cards that were inside the purse were used at a TD Bank branch.

The suspect is described as a white male with a shaved head.

• Stolen Credit Cards Used in Melville

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the person who stole a credit card that was later used at two pharmacies in Huntington.

According to police, a woman was inside Bank of America, located at 300 Broadhollow Road, Melville, when an unknown person broke into her vehicle and stole eyeglasses and a purse containing a wallet with credit cards on December 6 between 3:30 and 4 p.m.

A credit card in the wallet was later used by a woman at CVS, located at 2 Route 25, and Rite Aid, located on 283 Route 25, both in Huntington.

• Credit Cards Stolen From Huntington Church Parishioner

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who stole a credit card and used it at two locations in Huntington.

A parishioner at St. Patrick’s Church, located at 400 Main St. in Huntington, had his wallet stolen from his jacket that was left in a pew on December 6, 2012, between 6 and 6:50 p.m.

A credit card that was in the wallet was used later that night at Aerosoles, located at 260 West Main St., and Madison’s Niche, located at 14 Wall St.

• Stolen Items Returned To PC Richards

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the individuals who stole items from parked vehicles in Kings Park and then returned one of the items at a store in Stony Brook for a refund.

Various items, including two GPS devices, a cell phone, CDs and a DVD player, with receipt, were stolen from a vehicle parked in front of a home on Longfellow Drive in Kings Park on November 12, 2012, at approximately 11 p.m.

The DVD player was returned the following day at the PC Richards, located at 2229 Route 347 in Stony Brook.

What age group are these homemakers? My mom just recently moved into my house in Lindenhurst and IRead More would love for her to keep busy, make friends and enjoy herself. she is not very crafty, but would like to get involved in other things if available.
