Date from Hell: Lindy Man Buys Woman Dinner, Chocolates, Gets Robbed in Return

Four arrested after a bizarre incident on Monday night.

A Lindenhurst man took a woman out for dinner and gave her a box of chocolates during a date Monday night.

What he got in return, though, from the woman wasn't nearly as sweet.

Police say Virginia Miller, 26, of Amityville, helped set up the robbery of the Lindenhurst man, whom police did not identify, in the driveway of a North Amityville home.

Miller and three men are now under arrest.

Police say the night began when Miller made arrangements to go on a date with the Lindenhurst man to celebrate her birthday. After the man treated Miller to dinner at a local fast food restaurant and gave her the chocolates, they returned to a residence at 44 Nathalie Ave. in North Amityville, police said.

As they sat in the driveway, police say Miller sent a text message to her friends, signaling them to come out of the house to rob her date.

Jamar Christian, 21, Michael Owens, 34, and Rodney Fisher, 33, and two other men emerged from the house and assaulted the man, police said. They also stole his wallet, iPhone, a tablet and the chocolates, police said.

Police arrested Miller, Christian, Owens and Fisher and charged them with second degree robbery. The two other males involved in the attack are still being sought by police.

Miller, of North Amityville, Christian, of Copiague, Fisher, of Amityville, and Owens of Hempstead, are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, February 12, at First District Court in Central Islip.

LOL, all the garbage hoodrats from NYC are moving out to LI. Poor Long Islanders =/. Increase rent!, only way to keep away this primitive species, let them all move to places with cheaper rent and cost of living, like PA. The crime is sky rocketing there, don't let it keep skyrocketing in LI!!, Also protest against section 8, and projects housing!! Don't let the hoodrats continue breeding in civilized communities!
