Police: Men Stole Baby Formula, Phone at Lindy Pharmacy

Pair allegedly stole formula then cell phone after employee tried to take a photo of getaway vehicle.

Suffolk County Police are seeking the public's help in locating two men after they allegedly stole items from a Lindenhurst pharmacy last week.

According to police, the two men entered the Rite Aid located at 600 N. Wellwood Avenue on Sept. 18, stealing babylon formula at approximately 7:40 p.m.

A pharmacy employee followed the pair out of the storefront, attempting to take a photo of the vehicle. Upon noticing the employee, one of the men jumped out of the car and took the phone from the employee.

The men then fled from the scene in a white sedan heading westbound on Sunrise Highway.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a  cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to  Crime Stoppers at  1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
