2011 Grad Rosado Honored for Community Service

Legis. Horsley recently presented her with the Suffolk County award.

Ryan Rosado, class of 2011 senior turned graduate, was recently awarded the Suffolk County Community Service Award by Suffolk County Legislator for her outstanding commitment to her community and her school.

According to the legislator’s office, which announced the award in a release, Rosado “is extremely self-motivated and has distinguished herself as a gifted and accomplished student, as well as an ambitious young woman with a strong work ethic.”

Her varied and lengthy community service list includes work with LI Blood Services; Relay for Life; Habitat for Humanity; Safe Halloween; School Beautification; ; Unity Day; Red Ribbon Week.

also served as President of Characters in Action, a community service club at the high school.

She’ll attend George Washington University in the fall.
