Annual Kiwanis Kids' Christmas Party Set for Sunday

The Annual Lindenhurst Kiwanis Club Kids' Christmas Party runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and followed by the Annual Santa in the Park event and Lindenhurst Village Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade.

The Annual Christmas Party for Kids is set for this Sunday, December 2.

The Lindenhurst Kiwanis Club will once again host the Party, which will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on Herbert Avenue.

Kiwanis Vice President and Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce President JoAnn Boettcher told Patch the Party has been aimed at bringing holiday cheer to underpriveleged kids.

It'll now aim to bring holiday cheer to kids affected by Hurricane Sandy, as well.

Santa and a magician will be on hand to delight the kids.

Be sure to share your photos of this event by uploading them here - and yours could be the next Lindenhurst Resident Photo of the Day!

Hi Lindy Native. Thanks for posting these photos. But could you e-mail me at barbara.loehr@patch.comRead More with the originals and some more details? The photos you posted are really blurry/bitmapped. I think if you send the originals and some more info, then a story could be put together for the news section of the site. Thanks!
