Babylon Town Tree Lighting Set for Friday Night

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. on November 30 at Town Hall in Lindenhurst.

The Annual Town of Babylon Tree Lighting is set for tonight, November 30.

The festivities will start at 7 p.m. on Friday night at Town Hall, 200 East Sunrise Highway, in Lindenhurst.

"All Town residents are invited to attend this popular holiday event," Town officials wrote on its website here.

The ceremony will once again feature gifts for children, costumed characters, musical entertainment and refreshments for all.

The North Lindenhurst Fire Department will play a key role once again, as well, escorting Santa onto the scene.

Santa will also be joined by Town officials, including Supervisor Rich Schaffer, to help kick off the holiday season in the Town.
