FEMA Set Up at Library, Not Going to BOE Meeting Tuesday; Village Board Meets

The Lindenhurst School District says FEMA reps won't be at the November 20 Board of Education meeting. However, the Lindenhurst Memorial Library is a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center. The Village Board also meets tonight.

Village Board Meeting
The Lindenhurst Village Board of Trustees will meet tonight, November 20, at Village Hall at 7:30 p.m.

School Board Meeting
The Lindenhurst Board of Education is holding its monthly community forum meeting tonight, November 20.

It's set for Harding Avenue Elementary School at 8 p.m.

Please note last week FEMA reps had been rescheduled to return to this particular community forum meeting.

However, according to the Lindenhurst School District this morning, FEMA reps will not be at tonight's community forum meeting.

In addition, the meeting venue is still at Harding.

FEMA at the LML
The Lindenhurst Memorial Library is now set up as a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, with FEMA representatives and New York state agencies there every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. until further notice, according to the LML website.

What age group are these homemakers? My mom just recently moved into my house in Lindenhurst and IRead More would love for her to keep busy, make friends and enjoy herself. she is not very crafty, but would like to get involved in other things if available.
