The Babylon Food Pantry is in urgent need of donations.
"In these tough economic times more and more families in our community are having difficulty making ends meet," said officials in a press release on the Town's website.
"Please help put food on their table," they urged.

As a result and to prevent the shelves from being depleted, students from Ss. Cyril and Methodius School a food drive for the Pantry, and the 's lifeguards have gotten together this Summer and have been collecting food donations at the local .
And they're making a last push for donations for the food drive through Labor Day.
