Most recently she was playing doggie ambassador for the TOB Animal Shelter at its booth at the Town's at in Lindenhurst.
According to shelter volunteer Christina Catalano, Remi is approximately three years old, and she got her name because when she arrived at the shelter she originally had a nametag that read, "Remington."
Remi showed off her beautiful brindle coat, kind disposition and her knowledge of basic commands on Saturday, .
Be sure to click the images to see Remi up close. Or simply go to meet her. The shelter’s open between 10 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
(Clarification: According to the shelter, Remi's name is spelled with an "i" as it appears on her kennel, not "y" as it was shown on the shelter's website. Apologies for any confusion this might've caused.")
