Rescheduled BACCA Harvest Moon Gala Set for Wed. Night

The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts holding its annual gala at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst, honoring Village Mayor Tom Brennan. Hurricane Sandy forced its rescheduling to December 5.

The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts will honor Village of Lindenhurst Mayor Tom Brennan, at the non-profit organization’s Fifth Annual Harvest Moon Gala on Wednesday night at Chateau La Mer, also in Lindenhurst.

There Brennan - who also owns the Lindenhurst Funeral Home - will receive the Owen H. Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award for his on-going active role in the community.

The evening, which begins at 6:30 p.m., was originally scheduled for November 8. However, Hurricane Sandy forced its postponement to December 5.

The event will also feature live entertainment by BACCA performers from around the Town of Babylon, as well as works of art on display by Long Island artists and silent auction.

Tickets are available by calling BACCA’s office in Lindenhurst at 631-587-3696.
