Town of Babylon Sets Concert, Movie Series
Babylon Town's concert series features Micky Dolenz and several tribute bands while the movie series includes 'Harry Potter.'
Every year the Town of hosts a summer and movie series that’s open to all residents. This year is no different, and the 2011 schedules feature a mix of old and new, magic and mayhem – a little something for residents of all ages to enjoy.
For the All-Star Jazz Band will play at Hermann Griem Park on June 28, on July 5 and Phelps Lane Park on July 12. And the Paul Joseph Quartet will perform July 21 at Brennan High School.

News and Notes
Resident Recreation for 2011 are now available from the town. The permit fee for town residents is $35; for senior citizens in town, $20.
Residents can purchase them from the Parks Department at Phelps Lane in North Babylon, May 16 to June 24, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and at in , June 25 to September 5, daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
They can also buy them at on Ocean Parkway, May 13 to June 19, weekends only, and June 24 to September 5, daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Residents need a driver’s license, vehicle registration showing the vehicle registered within the town and a tax/utility bill.
The vehicle for which a resident is buying a permit must be present at the time of purchase. /park attendants will affix the permit to the vehicle at the time of purchase. No exceptions will be permitted, according to the town.
