Video, Photos: Thousands Turn out for 5th Annual Run for the Warriors

Two Lindenhurst Village officials run with about 2,000 other Town of Babylon residents in the annual fundraising race.

This past Saturday the Town of Babylon hosted the Fifth Annual Long Island Run for the Warriors race starting and ending at Town Hall in Lindenhurst.

The event raised about $100,000 for the non-profit organization Hope for the Warriors, which helps wounded solders and their families.

Two Lindenhurst Village officials took part in the run, Lindenhurst Village Deputy Mayor Kevin McCaffrey and Trustee Mike Lavorata.
