Planned in the same spirit as the Fall Festival last month, the Holiday Party the Lindenhurst High School is designed to bring some much-needed holiday cheer to the Hurricane Sandy-ravaged community.
The event is set for Wednesday, December 19, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and geared toward children in kindergarten through grade five, according to school officials.
Parents can bring their kids to the event where there'll be games in the cafeteria for the kids, plus hot chocolate, face-painting and a DJ, said school officials.
Many of the LHS clubs - including the National Honor Society and the Student Council - will be there lending a hand and helping to make it a holiday good time.
Santa is also set to make an appearance at the party.
