LHS Hosting Holiday Party Dec. 19 for Lindy Kids
The event at the Lindenhurst High School will feature holiday activities for elementary-age children in the community.
Planned in the same spirit as the Fall Festival last month, the Holiday Party the Lindenhurst High School is designed to bring some much-needed holiday cheer to the Hurricane Sandy-ravaged community.
The event is set for Wednesday, December 19, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and geared toward children in kindergarten through grade five, according to school officials.
Parents can bring their kids to the event where there'll be games in the cafeteria for the kids, plus hot chocolate, face-painting and a DJ, said school officials.
