Lindy Athletes Receive Suffolk Zone Award
Leanne Casella and Vincent DeStasio honored for athletic and scholarly achievements.
Leanne Casella and Vincent DeStasio have been named Lindenhurst School District's 2012 Suffolk Zone Outstanding Physical Education Leadership Award.
The student athletes displayed outstanding physical education achievements, served as student role models and leaders in school-wide activities to earn the award.
Casella and DeStasio celebrated the honor at a recent dinner at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge.
