Astrology makes predictions of future events based on cosmological alignments of both planets andRead More the Sun and Moon in relation to constellations of stars. So what exactly is the difference if not the predictions and labels used? While the ancient writers of scripture surely associated celestial events with real world events by sensing a pattern, without knowing that the pattern is repeated throughout the universe, they could not know that it couldn't be personal. That the eclipse happened while the skies were overcast suggests that if it were a sign, few were able to see it. The logical question is to ask why God wouldn't have ensured there were clear skies so that the sign could be seen. Simply put, if it were in fact a sign, hiding it is counter productive. The significance of the world wars depends on from where and when you look at them. Significant to those who lived it to be sure but to those who came afterwards, perhaps less so. While tragic to those who suffered the effects of the times, the losses were replaced within 3 generations and the memory of those who experienced the times are fading as time moves on. Besides, if another world war is to happen, it, like everything else, must be by design of anything is. I do believe that everything happens because it is supposed to or nothing can, I just don't think it all happens for us as some seem to. My ego is healthy but to assume the entire universe was made for man alone is beyond my hubris.

sounds fascinating -- I heard of John Hagee a minister who wrote a book on the Blood Moons - don'tRead More get it yet, but sounds intense, we just had a lunar eclipse + full moon days ago.
dleighg April 21, 2014 at 11:50 am
christie I hope you don't think it's significant that the eclipse and the full moon occurred at theRead More same time. That is ALWAYS the case (simple geometry).

Check out the article that the Port Washington Patch published last Tues. It lists 17 movies from myRead More website. There are hundred's of movies on the site and TV shows as well that have had at least one scene filmed on Long Island. I wonder, how many of them have been shot in your neighborhoods? After looking over the site, if you have knowledge of movies or TV shows shot in your neighborhood that are not listed. Please send them to me via the Contact section of my site and give the locations. Also, let me know if you want your name listed for credit. The article seems to be in most, it not all the Patch's on Long Island. http://portwashington.patch.com/groups/arts-and-entertainment/p/snow-day-survival-19-long-islandfilmed-movies-available-online-portwashington
