Scott Moore was raised in Lindenhurst, NY and was enrolled in Long Island Catholic schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating from Uniondale's Kellenberg Memorial High School in 2007. Scott went on to attend Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY, graduating in 2011 with degrees in American History and Online Journalism. Before arriving at Patch full-time, Scott freelanced and interned for a variety of organizations, including Newsday, The New York Academy of Sciences Magazine and various Patch websites. Scott was a staff reporter at The South Shore Standard in The Five Towns of Nassau County from June 2011 until May 2012. As the Local Editor of Babylon Village Patch, Scott hopes to give the community the news resource and community forum it wants.
