Police: Teenagers Robbed at Knifepoint on Sunrise Highway

Trio of robbers get away with an iPhone and only $10 cash.

Three teenagers were robbed on Sunrise Highway by three men wielding a handgun and knife on Sunrise Highway late Tuesday night.

According to Newsday, police said the robbers got away with little more than an Apple iPhone and $10.

Police said the three teens were approached by the robbers on Sunrise Highway near North Delaware Avenue at around 11:15 p.m.

The robbers flashed a knife and a handgun, police said, and demanded the teens give them their possessions. The teens handed over an iPhone and cash.

The trio fled following the robbery and police said no one was hurt.

The three robbers are still at large.
