Greenhouse Donated to Lindenhurst High School
Tanger Outlets donated a $1,000 check to help build a greenhouse at LHS.
Lindenhurst High School is developing a greenhouse, partially thanks to Tanger Outlets who recently provided a check for $1,000 towards the development of the project.
Teacher Colleen Van Tassel will spearhead the project to pilot agricultural chemistry as a project-based Regent’s chemistry enrichment.
The greenhouse will also be used by science research for individual student projects, food science teachers and technology teachers. The teachers will collaborate to make this an interdisciplinary project.Information provided courtesy Carol Hauser/Syntax.
