Lindy HS Students Donate to Town Animal Shelter

Students helped to collect food and funds for the shelters' many animals.

Lindenhurst High School life skills student collected food, treats, money and toys for the animals currently housed in the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter.

Chris Elton from the shelter came to thank the students personally. He brought his dog and spoke to students about the responsibilities of pet ownership.

There was also a collection from the high school main office employees.

“We would like to offer our thanks to all those who donated to help the animal shelter,” said teacher Kristy Matchett-Evans.
