Applebee's Contest Could Bring Gavin DeGraw Concert to Lindy
Lindenhurst currently leads contest with 10 days to go.
A contest being hosted by Applebee's in association with the "Thank You Movement" could bring a Gavin DeGraw concert to Lindenhurst.
The Thank You Movement is a project run by restaurant chain Applebee's to allow Americans to thank their armed forces for their dedication and service through an online commenting system.
The current Thank You Movement allows commenters to note where they are from. The city with the most "thank you's" will be selected to host a Gavin DeGraw concert for veterans.
Applebee's will also be joining in on Veteran's Day with free signature entrees at all of their locations on November 11.
Lindenhurst currently leads the contest with over 20,000 people thanking veterans on the website. The next closest town, Toms River, NJ, sits at 17,700 as of press time.
