Concert at the Library: Captain Jack

The three-man band will take the stage at the library on Wednesday evening

The Lindenhurst Memorial Library will host an outdoor concert on Thursday night, with Captain Jack performing in the library's backyard at 7 p.m.

The band, which plays covers of Long Island's favorite son Billy Joel and Elton John, will perform before a crowd at the library on Thursday.

Registration is open to all Lindenhurst residents and library card holders.

The concert will be taking place outdoors and the library suggests those coming for the concert bring lawn chairs or blankets.

In the event of a storm or rain, the concert will be cancelled.
