Michael Buccellato, Lindenhurst Class of 1980, Passes Away
Newsday truck driver passes away after an auto accident on Sunrise Highway.
Michael Buccellato, a Lindenhurst High School graduate from the Class of 1980, passed away on November 11.
Buccellato was 51 years old.
According to Newsday, Buccellato was a delivery truck driver for the newspaper company. His truck went out of control on November 11 in Copiague, crossing median before crashing.
He most recently lived in Central Islip with his family.
Beccellato is survived by his daughter Kylie, sister Rosalie as well as his niece Jessica and nephew Peter.
A memorial service was held on Friday at the Lindenhurst Funeral Home. He was laid to rest in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
