Cops Investigate Armed Robbery at N. Lindy 7-Eleven
Suffolk Police say two masked men robbed the store on North Wellwood Avenue at gunpoint just after midnight on Thursday.
Suffolk Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place just after midnight at a North Lindenhurst 7-Eleven on Thursday.
Police told Lindenhurst Patch later on Thursday that two men wearing dark clothing and masks held up the 7-Eleven at 781 North Wellwood Avenue.
They entered the store at 12:15 a.m. with hand guns and demanded cash, cigarettes and cigars from two male store employees, then fled with those items, police said.
The employees were unharmed, police noted.
According to the SCPD, no other details about the May 16 incident are available at this time, but the investigation is continuing.
